Helping to stop Global Warming will help save the planet - in turn the environments for all animals

 

Redhawk Photography continued to be green in 2007 with the following steps:

 

1). Signing up for renewable power (wind or solar) from our local electric utility.

2). Purchase of 2007 Toyota Prius (hybrid - works on gas and electric).

3). All light bulbs have been replaced with Compact Florescent bulbs.

4). All batteries have been replaced by rechargeable equivalent.

5). Garbage bags have been replaced by bio-degradable plastic bags (break down in several months unlike centuries).

6). Buying products in recyclable packaging.

7). Taking a re-usable cloth bag when shopping.

 

In addition to the above steps for more than a decade we have recycled our food garbage into compost.

Grown an organic food garden, and kept the entire property organic.

Stored rain water for use in the garden.

 

In 2008 we will be setting up a gray-water system for watering the plants in the yard.
